Community Shed

About

The Church is very pleased to host Roehampton Community Shed. Affiliated with the national Men's Shed project it aims to create community spaces to facilitate primarily older men (although not exclusively), to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups to enjoy together. They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they’re fun!

What we do

Activities include up-cycling donated furniture for local charities, repairs in the community and any personal projects we are able to accommodate. We are committed to work together to share skills and sociability. We have small premises at the Church, use of an adjacent outside area and have just converted a nearby shop to create a bigger workspace. We are supported by Age UK Wandsworth. We welcome all adult members of the human species!
